Hello y'all!
It's really nice to talk about the first week of our on line course called Building Teaching Skills Through the Interactive Web.
To start the course our tutor Donna Shaw introduced herself and asked us to do the same and talk a little bit about our teaching experiences. I could know my colleagues that are really experienced teachers from all over the world. Also, we discussed about the use of the Ground Rules. And as a result of this discussion all of us could agree on the importance of this tool to guide our thoughts in a way that we can reach the main objective of the suggested forum.
As our final discussion, we presented our blogs and told how was the process to create it. And I can say that this is one of the things that I learned this week: how a blog is an useful tool. Also the extra material that Donna suggested us could give us an idea how to use the blog to enrich our classes and provide new opportunities to our students to build their knowledge and express themselves.
This was a very profitable week and I see this course as an unique opportunity to share our thoughts and worries about our profession but with a focus on the resource that is the internet.
The first week is over but I'm sure I will learn much more...
